Note: Madame d'Aulnoy was the one to coied the term Conte de Fées (fairy tales) in France (in the French Salons) aound the 1690's

Both are adorable! The recipe for the taste for traveling made me laugh, especially the last line. I didn't know that there was such a book about the film Amélie. It's so sweet!

Yes! The book is absolutely gorgeous! The photographs and my scans do not so it justice at all. The colors are as rich as they are in the film.
I think this books was only made in French...

There was also a German version of the book, but you can't buy it anymore now.

It was sold in bookstores when the movie came out (in Québec). I think it was only made in French...
I checked amazon.com, and amazon.ca, but only amazon.fr seem to have it.

Oh, how beautiful! I had no idea there was an Amélie book. Thanks for posting, I'm so tempted to track down a copy for myself one day :P

So very charming!! I am just learning french and think I shall invest in that lovely Amélie book once I have a bit of money, assuming they don't mind shipping to the US. I remember reading Donkeyskin as a small child, that is my favorite as well. Thank you so for sharing! ♥
